This policy applies to PoliticalBuzz.co.uk, TweetyourMP.com, TweetyourMSP.com and TweetyourCandidate.com.
We do not store or sell any of the data (postcodes) used in the lookup tool on the sites.
We track using google analytics to optimise the website and the service we deliver. The core services Political Buzz provides (tweet your MP, tweet your MSP and tweet your candidate) are free – we may sell expertise and advice in setting up campaigns, as well as charge for the development of requested additional features, which in turns keeps the sites running.
Advertising
The only ads we run are Twitter promote mode, to promote the site. We don’t run any ads on any of our sites.
Google Analytics
Tweet your MP uses google analytics to gather information about visitors to this site and to optimise and improve how our site works. Read more about cookies.
Cloudflare
Tweet your MP makes use of cloudflare to provide an SSL certificate for the site, along with some additional security (a captcha) to verify traffic from Russia – this was necessitated after the US election when a large amount of automated traffic was attempting to post vote Donald Trump messages in our site stats. Data storage
No postcodes are stored by the site. Numbers of requests by each constituency are recorded to monitor the use of the tool. Links generated using the campaign generator tool make use of bit.ly for tracking and monitoring purposes.
Your contact information
The contact us form uses 123contactform.com and is subject to 123contactform’s terms of service. We delete all contact form submissions every 3 months.
Our email newsletter uses mailchimp to store your email data. Email subscriptions requite double opt in and you can unsubscribe at any time.
